It’s on my dash again!a depiction of their entire relationship. Think about it
I can’t get over the total perfection that is this gif.
So, this is lovely and fluid and genius and I’m a terrible person for even mentioning this, …but I’m obsessive and can’t help myself:
The chain cuts through John’s body.
John’s left wrist is hand cuffed to Sherlock’s left wrist. The instant before John’s fist connects with Sherlock’s jaw, both cuffs are in front of John’s body and below his right arm, which is extended in mid punch. The instant after the punch, Sherlock’s left hand is behind and above John’s head. John’s left hand is behind him on the left side of his body. The chain connecting them is now behind John’s back.
That is physically impossible.
The chain of the handcuffs must have passed through John’s torso or through his extended right punching arm. Normally I would say, okay, maybe Sherlock’s flailing left hand passed in front of John’s face and over his left shoulder on it’s way to end up above and behind John’s head, but no, because John’s right fist just connected with Sherlock’s jaw, the chain would still hit the underside of John’s right arm.
It’s one of those unsolvable geometry / spatial relations conundrums.

Arcadia. Gallifrey’s Second City. — I just realized: Mephistopheles Arkadian’s financial backing was so instrumental in the reconstruction of Gallifrey after the Pandoran civil war that they renamed their second largest city after him.
